Welcome to Train the Trainer (TTT) 2009!  This is the second year of jhr’s TTT program.  jhr has made a few changes to it based on participant feedback.  The program this year will provide participants with the skills necessary to A) produce Rights Media, and B) train their peers on producing Rights Media.  In short, this program will empower the next generation of Canadian leaders – you  - to use the media as a tool for positive change.

The content of these two day regional workshops includes training on the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and the relationship between media and human rights.  In addition, the workshops will develop students’ skills in participatory facilitation, conflict resolution, and the production of Rights Media.  Upon completion of this program, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to return to their campuses and communities to host their own Rights Media workshops – empowering Canadian youth to produce media that can change the world!
